Hu Bo: The entire lithium battery industry, especially in the electric vehicle sector, China's development is relatively fast, and the overall situation is better. For Shanshan Technology, we have great advantages in power battery. Many important manufacturers are our partners. At present, the demand in the market is very strong, but we still have some gaps in production capacity. Shanshan Technology has been doing this work in a targeted manner. The 100,000-ton integrated base under construction in Baotou is solving this problem. It has great significance.
Shanshan Jun: What are the advantages and competitiveness of Shanshan Technology in the entire anode material industry?
Hu Bo: Our biggest advantage is technology. Especially in the power battery, the advantages are very obvious.

Some of our products have unique advantages. For example, the 15 minute fast charge technology is applied to our negative electrode materials. At present, we are in a leading position in this product, and we are in a state of short supply. The biggest change of Shanshan Technology this year is the high proportion of high-end products. These are the current mainstream or the next generation of negative materials, which can be said to be an advantage of one of our technologies and products.

Second, we have a certain market position. After the new factory is built, our scale advantage will be more prominent.
Third, the team advantage, in addition to a strong technical R & D team, the support of the headquarters is also a big guarantee for us, Zheng Yonggang boss has always stressed the importance of technology, development, and innovation.

Shanshan Jun: What kind of development strategy does Shanshan Technology have in the future? What are the plans and arrangements for capacity layout and expansion, and what achievements and results have been achieved?
Hu Bo: Our overall goal is to become the leader of the industry. To truly achieve this goal, it is necessary to have a strong breakthrough in scale in the future. Therefore, our top priority is to expand production capacity, form a scale advantage, and complete the construction of the integrated factory in Baotou as soon as possible and put into production. We will strive to build 40,000 tons of capacity by the end of this year, effectively alleviating our supply pressure next year. We must effectively utilize the advantages of electricity price and transportation in the Baotou project to build our manufacturing and scale advantages.
Second, the next stage is to integrate the supply chain and take advantage of the supply chain. At the same time, a new quality control system should be established for the new factory. This is what our entire company wants to do now and in the future.
Shanshan Jun: In terms of quality control system, will the negative electrode also develop in the direction of unmanned and intelligent factories?

Hu Bo: At present, intelligence is a bit unrealistic. To be precise, it should be to establish an automated factory, reduce human intervention, and truly become a closed part. That is, the material cannot be exposed outside, and the production line becomes an automated assembly line. This is what we have been pursuing all the time. The integrated base currently under construction in Baotou is a negative electrode material production line that integrates five major processes from raw material processing, raw material processing, graphitization, carbonization to finished product processing.

Shanshan Jun: In the future, what breakthroughs and ideas are there in the field of anode materials? How will Shanshan Technology achieve new breakthroughs?

Hu Bo: From the technical point of view, a future development trend of anode materials is definitely high capacity, which involves the application of silicon carbon materials, which can expand the capacity of anode materials. Starting this year, we will also increase investment in this area and gain a leading edge in technology and capacity scale.
In addition, the combination of graphene as a conductive agent and silicon, and the work of organizing the negative electrode material are also being promoted to enhance the conductivity of silicon.

Shanshan Jun: What do you think about the common inventory and accounts receivable in the industry?

Hu Bo: The problem with inventory is this, because each product has a production cycle. For example, our anode material production cycle takes about 60 days, and its production cycle determines that there will be inventory problems. Therefore, as long as it is a reasonable inventory, there is no problem.
With regard to accounts receivable, we have also set a set of measures for risk control for different volume of customers this year based on objective conditions. At present, Shanshan Technology's overall accounts receivable this year is still relatively good.

Shanshan Jun: What do you think about the various technological paths such as lithium and hydrogen fuel that exist in new energy vehicles?

Hu Bo: Actually, the Japanese have been making fuel cars very early, but they have made several prototypes, and it does not mean that the fuel cells must be mature.
There are still many problems in it. Even if the cost of manufacturing is thrown away, the storage and transportation of catalyst and hydrogen alone is a big problem. In addition, this is not in line with the current situation in China. Now it is OK to charge the car, but it is not realistic to go to hydrogenation. This is actually related to a larger change in the industrial chain. In China, lithium battery is transformed from mobile phone batteries and computer batteries. It has a very strong industrial base, but fuel cells want to develop and can rely on too few things. Moreover, at present, Toyota or Panasonic is also promoting lithium battery power.
Therefore, I believe that at present, at least in the short term, it is not the time for the development of hydrogen fuel vehicles, I am still very optimistic about lithium batteries.

Shanshan Jun: What do you think about Tesla entering China?

Hu Bo: For Tesla's question, let me talk about my point of view. The emergence of Tesla can be said to promote the development of the entire electric vehicle industry. This entry into China also released a positive signal to promote industrial development. In recent years, China has made a lot of efforts in battery materials, especially automotive batteries. It is very good in terms of battery performance and safety performance. Therefore, it is hoped that Tesla will be able to open its supplier system after entering China.
